Heatshrink solder butt connectors have pre-fluxed solder and glue rings for easy installation. They are coated with hot melt adhesive to ensure a complete seal of the termination area, repairing any insulation splits resulting from crimping, making them water tight after heat application.
The insulation transparency allows you to see the connector for easy verification that the wire conductor is fully inserted into the solder ring before heating.
